As part of the campaign with free passes for children, a maximum of 15,000 tickets will be issued, while the family bonus in the super pre-sale will once again serve to promote young talent.

At its premiere last winter, 9,695 Lower Austria Mountain Adventure Passes were issued and used for a total of 102,810 visits in the ten ski areas where the pass is valid – far exceeding all expectations. The family bonus in super advance sales is once again supporting young talent. When you purchase one adult pass, all children under the age of eleven in the family go free; when you purchase two adult passes, all children under the age of sixteen go free.

The Lower Austrian Mountain Adventure Pass is valid without restriction from the first to the last day of operation of the ten participating ski areas, with a total of 51 lifts and 125 kilometers of slopes: Annaberger Lifte, Erlebnisalm Mönichkirchen, Maiszinken family ski area, Gemeindealpe Mitterbach, Hochkar Bergbahnen, Königsberg, Mariazeller Bürgeralpe, Ötscherlifte Lackenhof, Semmering Hirschenkogel and Wexl Arena St. Corona am Wechsel.

A major advantage of the Lower Austria Mountain Adventure Pass is the guaranteed snow, for example at Semmering Hirschenkogel or Hochkar Bergbahnen – where the season is scheduled to start on Friday, December 5, 2025, and end on Easter Monday, April 6, 2026 – a total of 123 operating days. The Lower Austria Mountain Adventure Pass includes night skiing under floodlights at Hochkar Bergbahnen and Semmering Hirschenkogel, as well as ski touring at the Annaberger Liften, Gemeindealpe Mitterbach, Mariazeller Bürgeralpe, and Ötscherlifte Lackenhof.

The super presale runs until October 31, 2025. During this period, the adult pass costs €410. Children are either free with the family bonus; otherwise, the child pass costs €165. This special offer is limited to 15,000 passes. 'Mini-passes,' free season passes for children under six, are always available and are not included. Anyone who doesn't want to miss out on the family bonus can purchase the Lower Austrian Mountain Adventure Pass online and at many ski resorts," says Karl Weber, coordinator of the Lower Austrian Mountain Adventure Pass Working Group.
