Guests in Silvretta Montafon can once again look forward to prominent live acts such as Maite Kelly, DJ Ötzi or Mickie Krause – and to the sporting highlight in March, when the snowboard elite meet at the FIS Ski & Snowboard Cross World Cup. 

With 140 kilometers of slopes and Vorarlberg's longest valley run, Silvretta Montafon is the most athletic ski resort. Those who want to ski the Montafon Totale Ski area can let loose. Adrenaline junkies will get their fix on the "Black Scorpion" runs and in the diverse freeride terrain. The cross-country trails throughout the area, suitable for all skill levels, offer plenty of variety. The Monti Lux Cross, Kids Cross, and Family Cross provide action-packed fun for children and families. More ambitious skiers can race each other on the Freeride Cross and Race Cross. The Montafon Snowpark, with its obstacles and perfectly shaped lines, completes the offerings. After a day of winter sports, those looking for a relaxing break are invited to enjoy a sundowner every Friday starting February 20th at the new Hanglage wine bar & lounge, located on the upper floor of the Kapellrestaurant. The weekend begins with fine drinks, breathtaking sunsets and atmospheric music.

Celebrate and win throughout the winter season
The Mountain Beats Festival on January 17th kicks off the 2026 party season. For the third time, renowned DJs will be spinning electronic music at the Valisera Bahn mountain station, followed by numerous other live acts and events until the end of the season. DJ Paul will be heating things up at the season finale on Saturday, April 11th, at the Forever 80s Party in the Nova Stoba, featuring hits like 99 Luftballons and Eye of the Tiger. The party continues on Sunday, April 12th. DJ Patrick will be spinning from 11:00 AM, followed by a performance from The Monroes. Afterwards, there will be the grand winter raffle with attractive prizes and a top prize of €10,000 cash. Following the motto "Collect ski days and maximize your chances of winning," every registered ski day in Silvretta Montafon will be entered into the raffle.

Long Night of the Cable Cars
A nighttime ride on the mountain railway, musical and culinary highlights – the long nights of the cable cars are all about alpine coziness. It all kicks off on January 23rd at the Zamang cable car mountain station at over 1,800 meters. On February 6th, the Valisera cable car mountain station invites you to linger in the evening. Finally, on March 6th, the Versettla cable car mountain station opens late into the night. For guests and locals alike, the long nights on the mountain are a special experience. Depending on the location, spectacular fire shows, atmospheric beats, torchlight processions, and a unique Bully show await. The cable cars run free of charge on these evenings from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm.

Freeride World Tour Open Faces in Silvretta Montafon
On Monday, January 26th, the Freeride World Tour Challenger returns to Silvretta Montafon. The world's best freeriders will compete in the challenging terrain around the "Kleine Heimspitze" (Little Home Peak). In addition to 2,500 qualifying points for the 2027 Freeride World Tour (FWT), there's also a substantial cash prize up for grabs. Spectators can expect a diverse program. Live viewing, a DJ, and side events at the Nova Stoba will provide the perfect setting for the event. 

Dress rehearsal for the 2027 FIS World Championships in Snowboard, Freestyle and Freeski 
From Wednesday, March 11th, to Sunday, March 15th, the Grasjoch course will be transformed into an absolute speed hotspot. The FIS Ski Cross World Cup will take place here on Wednesday and Thursday, before the world's best snowboarders take over the challenging course at the weekend. Thrilling head-to-head races and goosebump moments are guaranteed. The event is also the perfect preview of an even bigger highlight: Next year, Silvretta Montafon will host the FIS World Championships in Snowboard, Freestyle, and Freeski.

Top musical acts in March and April: Whether in a trendy style with a hat or in traditional dress
On Saturday, March 21st, DJ Ötzi will be bringing the party to the Valisera cable car mountain station. With his unmistakable mix of original songs and international hits, he's sure to thrill his fans. The following week, on Saturday, March 28th, the party continues. Skiing, dancing, celebrating, and having fun: the Dirndl Ski Fun with Mickie Krause is a true winter highlight. For the grand finale of the ski season on Saturday, April 4th, Maite Kelly will be rocking the stage at the Valisera cable car mountain station with her catchy pop sound. Good vibes are guaranteed at her performance. Admission to the concerts is free. For those who would also like to indulge in culinary delights, VIP tickets are available. In an exclusive area, VIP guests can enjoy a traditional Bavarian white sausage breakfast, a flying buffet, snacks, and a wine and prosecco bar. The combination of fun on the slopes, partying, and music makes these events unforgettable.

Those arriving by electric car can park in Vorarlberg's largest EV charging garage with 50 charging stations and walk directly to the lift station in just a few minutes.
