The publisher of the Ski Guide introduced the former Turkish ambassador to Austria to the country's winter sports destinations.
During a meeting in Vienna between Ski Guide Austria publisher Günter Fritz and Ozan Ceyhun, the former Turkish ambassador to Austria, the topics discussed included tourism relations between the two countries – especially winter tourism and the opportunities currently available to Austria in Turkey.
The country on the Bosporus boasts several noteworthy ski resorts, some of which utilize Austrian ski lifts, and a vibrant winter sports community. Ceyhun, whose wife is a skier, still lives in the capital city and loves life in Austria – both in the countryside and in the mountains. He therefore showed considerable interest in the current Ski Guide Austria 2026 and spontaneously offered to promote it – and thus Austrian winter sports – within his extensive network. This creates a mutually beneficial advertising opportunity, one that also aims to strengthen Austrian-Turkish relations.
