Following a successful start to the 2026/27 winter season and the continuous expansion of its slopes and lifts, Austria's largest glacier ski resort invites visitors to enjoy winter at its finest with a series of event highlights. Until mid-November, four events will take place – the Ski Oktoberfest, the Stubai Prime Park Sessions, the Stubai Zoo Park & Test Days, and the Intersport Testival – bringing skiers, freeriders, and snowboarders together at an altitude of over 3,000 meters.

Impressive panoramas, freshly groomed slopes, and a comprehensive event calendar make the Stubai Glacier the ideal destination for a holiday or day trip – and all this just 45 minutes from Innsbruck and easily accessible by public transport. This autumn, Austria's largest glacier ski resort focuses on tradition, top-class sport, and innovation: Between the end of October and mid-November, four events will provide special experiences on and off the slopes.

Ski Oktoberfest WEISSE WIES'N

The Gamsgarten mountain station will be hosting a Bavarian-style celebration on October 24th and 25th, 2026. The "WEISSE WIES'N" ski Oktoberfest will feature live music from the "Rieder Gipfelstürmer" band. Other events include a ceremonial tapping of the first keg, a performance by the nostalgic ski group "Feuerkogel," Oktoberfest treats, prize draws, and a stein-holding competition. A special treat for traditional Bavarian clothing enthusiasts: anyone arriving for skiing on Saturday or Sunday in a dirndl or lederhosen will receive a 50% discount on the regular adult day ski pass.

Stubai Prime Park Sessions

The Stubai Prime Park Sessions will start on November 2, 2026. Since 2013, freestyle professionals from all over the world have gathered every autumn at the Stubai Zoo snowpark to prepare for the upcoming competition season. Olympic champions, world champions, and X Games winners train on the exclusive Prime Line, showcasing freestyle sport at its highest level.

Stubai Zoo Park & Test Days

The Stubai Zoo Park & Test Days combine equipment testing with snowpark action and a variety of side events. Following Open Park and the Party Night in Neustift on Friday, visitors can test the latest ski and snowboard innovations from leading brands like Burton, Armada, and DC for free on Saturday and Sunday, November 7th and 8th, 2026. A chill-out area and DJ sets round out the program. At SLASH RIDE & PLAY with snowboard legend Gigi Rüf, youngsters can get their first freestyle experience at the Kids Rail Playground.

Intersport Testival

From November 12th to 15th, 2026, the INTERSPORT Testarea at the Eisgrat mountain station, at an altitude of 2,900 meters, will be all about the latest trends in winter sports. Leading brands such as Atomic, Fischer, and Head will present their latest product innovations in skiing and outdoor gear. Testival passes are available online only, starting at €29 per day (excluding ski pass). The program is complemented by side events such as carving camps, avalanche transceiver training, and workshops. A particular highlight is the "One Night Under the Stars" bivouac camp, presented by The North Face.
