Full performance when every hundredth of a second counts: With the uvex ultimate race 4 pro, the uvex race 4, and the uvex race up, uvex presents three FIS-certified ski racing helmets. From the full-carbon model for the World Cup to the all-rounder for ambitious racers and the entry-level model for up-and-coming talent: These models combine everything that matters in competition and score points with impact resistance, low weight, and high wearing comfort.

Breathing is calm, eyes fixed on the first gates. One last check to make sure everything is in place: ski goggles, bib number, helmet. Then the signal sounds, and it's down the slope towards the finish. Every turn, every jump, every swing can decide victory or defeat. Hundredths of a second separate podium finishes from the middle of the pack, and on the steepest sections, a single, small mistake can have fatal consequences. This combination of peak performance and risk makes alpine ski racing one of the toughest disciplines in the world. That's why racers need equipment that reliably protects them – whether in the FIS World Cup, a regional slalom, or a junior race. The new [products/equipment] are designed for this purpose. uvex race ski racing helmets developed because they are the result of 100 years of racing DNA at uvex.

uvex ultimate race 4 pro: ultimate protection. ultimate lightness. ultimate line.

When every hundredth of a second counts in the World Cup, the helmet can't weigh a single gram too much and makes no compromises when it comes to safety. The new uvex ultimate race 4 pro masters precisely this balancing act. As part of the "ultimate line"—the anniversary collection celebrating uvex's 100th anniversary—this top-of-the-line model combines all of the brand's racing experience into a single helmet. Its ultra-lightweight carbon fiber shell distributes impact energy over a larger area in the event of a fall and, in combination with a two-piece EPS core, offers high impact resistance at minimal weight. Naturally, the ski racing helmet is both FIS-compliant and certified by TÜV Rheinland EN 1077:2007 Class A, and therefore officially approved for professional racing use. But the uvex ultimate race 4 pro isn't just impressive in terms of protection: The antibacterial, odor-inhibiting interior with Ionic+® technology ensures a comfortable feel even during long training days, while Fitpads allow for individual adjustment to the specific head shape. The hear+ ear pads transmit ambient noise clearly – a crucial advantage on the slopes. The proven uvex monomatic closure is easy and secure to use, even with gloves, while the ski goggles stay reliably attached to the helmet with a Velcro patch. This means the new uvex ultimate race 4 pro meets the highest demands and will be worn by athletes like Emma Aicher in the upcoming World Cup season.

uvex race 4: speed. saves. seconds.

For anyone chasing their personal best in giant slalom, Super-G, or downhill, the uvex race 4 is the ideal choice. Its concept follows a clear line: safety and performance at an attractive price. The robust fiberglass shell, combined with a two-piece EPS core, ensures – as with the top-of-the-line model – excellent impact resistance and efficient shock absorption at a low weight. The uvex race 4 is also FIS-compliant and certified by TÜV Rheinland according to EN 1077:2007 Class A. To ensure a perfect fit, the helmet features fit pads for individual adjustment to the head shape and a two-piece, removable COOLMAX® EcoMade interior lining, which also provides a comfortable helmet climate. The hear+ ear pads transmit external noise clearly, and the uvex monomatic closure can be operated with one hand – even with gloves. Thanks to an optional Velcro patch, the ski goggles sit securely on the helmet and, in combination with the uvex race pro ski goggles, form an aerodynamically optimized system. The uvex race 4 is available in six sizes and four colors – for the best possible fit and an individual look.

uvex race up: future champs. real dreams. full speed.

Today, the first slalom course in club training; tomorrow, the ultimate goal: the World Cup. Young racers need equipment that gives them the necessary protection and the confidence to push their limits. The uvex race up is designed precisely for this purpose. As a FIS-certified entry-level race helmet, it offers up-and-coming athletes professional-level safety at a fair price. The robust ABS outer shell, combined with a two-piece EPS construction, ensures extreme impact resistance and efficient shock absorption. Like the two larger models, the uvex race up is FIS-compliant and certified by TÜV Rheinland according to EN 1077:2007 Class A. To ensure the helmet grows with the young athletes and fits perfectly even in changing conditions, it features the uvex 3D-IAS system with an integrated neck warmer for precise size adjustment. The proven uvex monomatic closure makes putting the helmet on and taking it off a breeze. For comfort, the helmet features a two-part, removable COOLMAX® EcoMade lining and a passive ventilation system that brings fresh air to hot heads – complemented by hear+ ear pads that clearly transmit external sounds. A lightweight, easily attachable plastic chin bar (sold separately) is available specifically for slalom use.
