The board of directors of Gasteiner Bergbahnen AG was elected by the Ski amadé member companies as the new president of the Ski amadé ski association. He succeeds Mag. Daniel Berchthaller, managing director of Reiteralm Bergbahnen GmbH & Co. KG, whose term has expired.

Benjamin Rogl will assume the presidency of Ski amadé starting with the 2025/26 season. During his upcoming term, he aims to further advance the positive development trajectory of the five leading ski destinations. "I am delighted to take on the presidency of Ski amadé and thus further develop Austria's largest ski network. As the new president of Ski amadé, I want to build on the strong foundation of recent years while actively shaping the next stage of development. Ski amadé should continue to be a driver of innovation in digitalization and modern ticketing, while close collaboration between the regions and partners remains a key factor for success. The strength of the Ski amadé brand lies in its unified approach and the diversity we leverage as a strategic advantage. Our goal is to offer guests unique, authentic experiences while combining economic stability with sustainable practices," explains Benjamin Rogl, CEO of Gasteiner Bergbahnen AG and president of Ski amadé.

Ski amadé – a strong cooperative community with a clear future
Since 2000, Ski amadé has stood for close, collaborative partnerships between 16 independent cable car companies united under a common brand – Ski amadé. This unique form of cooperation has proven its worth over many years and is now one of the most successful models in European tourism. "Our goal is to further develop Ski amadé as a strong, future-proof platform – with a clear commitment to collaboration, quality, and digital solutions," says Manuel Schnell, Managing Director of Ski amadé GmbH. The intensive exchange with the 16 member companies, the shared commitment to the further development of the network, and initial measures already implemented confirm the continued success of this cooperative partnership.
