Zwölferhorn – St. Gilgen

The new Zwölferhorn cable car in St. Gilgen on Lake Wolfgang has replaced the "nostalgic gondolas". Now up to 655 people per hour can reach the Zwölferhorn with 8-person gondolas. The mountain and valley stations have been renovated and a "glass" mountain restaurant has been built. The Zwölferhorn is a great place for hiking and ski tours. For the first time this winter season, there is the Pillstein high-altitude trail. It runs along the circular hiking trail of the same name, and the trail itself is groomed for around 2 km.
