Wildkogel-Arena Neukirchen/Bramberg
Neukirchen/Bramberg – Wildkogel
fun on the slopes with a view of the national park
The Wildkogel Arena With 85 percent of easy and medium difficulty slopes, it is ideal terrain for beginners, those returning to skiing and families. They are clearly number 1 here. Especially on the "children's highway 5a" and the children's areas with the mascots Kogel-Mogel and Kogel-Mia. Ski carousels and magic carpets bring drive to the well-equipped children's areas. In the family park with steep curves, snow waves and snow snails, the technique is honed enthusiastically. This is then implemented with more speed on the speed check and ski movie runs, as well as on the fun slope. But of course, most of the time you just move around on the varied slopes, which are in great shape.
The green 8-person cabins ensure that the summit of Bramberg is reached without any waiting time. You drive into the open mountain station with a spectacular wooden ceiling and not only see the wide slope below, but also a unique feature: the longest illuminated toboggan run in the world. The Wildkogel Arena is famous for these exhilarating 14 kilometers. The finely groomed slopes under the Braunkogel, Frühmesser and Wildkogel peaks, each around 2,200 meters high, leave nothing to be desired, especially for families who love winter sports.
From Neukirchen The Wildkogel is also easily reached by the Wildkogelbahn cable car. Both mountain stations are at the same height. First we enjoy the breathtaking view of the Hohe Tauern National Park. Then we turn around and look into a wide basin full of quiet runs. Those who like it more challenging will have fun below the Ganzer X-press. On the black or the unprepared ski route. The two valley runs should not only be enjoyed on the final descent. Because of their extraordinary length, the enjoyment can suffer a little under the physical limitations towards the end. It is better to make the most of the mostly deserted runs to Bramberg or Neukirchen at lunchtime. The innovative eLINER is waiting for you at the bottom.
