St. Jakob in Defereggen

The highest cable car system in East Tyrol opened in December 2022 in St. Jakob in the Defereggental. The 6-seater Leppleskofel chairlift with heated seats and weather hoods leads from the valley station of the former Almspitz lift up to 2,683 m above sea level. At the same time, three new slopes were opened up, making the ski area even more attractive. Even before that, it was a varied East Tyrolean ski area with snow all the way down to the valley. Seen from below, on the far right, there are great deep snow variants that gently slide down towards the valley station. The fun park at the Mooserberg 3-seater chairlift is also popular with beginners and professionals.
