Riesneralm – Donnersbachwald

Snow-sure "insider tip" near Irdning/Liezen with 30 kilometers of slopes from 980 to 1,850 meters above sea level. With a 6-seater chairlift, two 4-seater chairlifts, two drag lifts, 2 magic carpets, a 176-meter-long conveyor belt and "Alpine Base" for amateur skiers. After building the new slope from Hochsitz to "Sonnige" and converting the valley station into a multifunctional complex, a hydroelectric power station was recently built for snowmaking. The Riesneralm is therefore energy self-sufficient.
