Klostertal / Sonnenkopf
The Sonnenkopf near Klösterle is a family mountain par excellence. There are sometimes 300 children romping around in the "Snowman Land". One-of-a-kind "Snowman lessons" are offered for children who have never been on skis before - or for mini-experts. The kids are supervised, but preschool children can also explore the magic carpets and obstacles with their parents for free. That's one side. The other side is excellent deep snow slopes and an 800-meter-long steep slope that, with a gradient of over 60 percent, is one of the steepest slopes in Austria. Hot tips are the powder run into the Nenzigasttal and the 11-kilometer-long Vermalen descent including a rest in the pretty Bündthütte. Multi-day ski pass in the Arlberg network. 9 lifts. 34 km of slopes.
