As one of the first golf courses in Tyrol, the Zillertal-Uderns Golf Club will open for the season on March 14, 2026. At the same time, the Zillertal ski resorts, thanks to their high altitude, guarantee fantastic sunny skiing until April 12, 2026. Thus, for a whole month, skiing and golf will be enjoyed simultaneously in the Zillertal.
The Zillertal-Uderns Golf Club meets the highest quality standards and has been a member of the "Leading Golf Courses of Austria," an exclusive group of golf courses, since 2016. The 18-hole championship course impresses with its unique layout, consisting of four par-5s, ten par-4s, and four par-3s. Nestled in the Zillertal valley landscape, it offers not only a challenging golfing experience but also panoramic views of the snow-capped three-thousand-meter peaks. Thanks to its sunny location, the Zillertal-Uderns Golf Club promises a long playing season from March to November.
The new "Trackman" system at the driving range in the Zillertal offers state-of-the-art training opportunities and innovative game modes for golfers of all ages. Using Doppler radar technology, the high-tech system captures detailed data on every shot, including ball speed, spin, trajectory, and impact, delivering precise real-time analysis. The varied games, such as "Nearest to the Pin," "Bullseye," and "Capture the Flag," promote ball feel and motivation through playful challenges – especially for young golfers. All training data and statistics can be easily accessed and compared at any time via the "Trackman" golf app. Virtual golf on famous courses like Valderrama and Liberty National provides additional variety.
At the same time, a golf holiday can be perfectly combined with enjoyable sunny skiing. More than 80 of the slopes in the Zillertal are located above 1,700 meters and thus offer the best snow conditions. The four large ski areas – Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach, Spieljoch, Hochfügen, the Zillertal Arena, Mountopolis, the Mayrhofen mountain lifts adventure world, and the Zillertal 3000 ski and glacier world – allow for perfect turns until April 12, 2026, and beyond: The Hintertux Glacier offers the longest ski season in Austria.
