Just a snowball's throw from the ski lift and a few minutes' walk from the lake, the Upside Down Town Hotel – Neue Post in Zell am See is the gateway to an all-round paradise.

Freshly renovated and shining in new splendour, the Upside Down Town Hotel – New Post Located at Schlossplatz 2 in idyllic Zell am See, it's the place to be for all globetrotters, adventure seekers, and staycation aficionados. Whether in winter or summer, the hotel, with its charm, modernity, and a touch of playfulness, creates space and time for good vibes and high times in the heart of the city—at the foot of the mountains or by the lake.

As hip and modern as the hotel is today, the history behind it is just as rich and long-standing. What began in 1862 as the Hotel Post, and over the years evolved into a hospital and a police station, is now the new hotel hotspot in Zell am See. As the father of today's success, Harald Bruckner took over the Hotel Neue Post in 1997, which is now run under a new concept by his daughter Nadia Bruckner and her partner Darijo Vujicic.

After a day of fun on the slopes at Schmittenhöhe, in Kaprun, or Saalbach-Hinterglemm, the hotel's 800-square-meter Downtown Spa invites you to relax and unwind. Those seeking relaxation will find the ultimate oasis in the covered outdoor pool, the hot whirlpool, the steam bath, one of three saunas, and the spacious relaxation room, perfect for cozying up. And if you'd like to pamper yourself after a sporty day at the lake this coming summer season, simply book a massage or beauty treatment in the hotel's own beauty and massage studio.

But different culinary worlds also converge in the gourmet kitchen, as the Down Town Kitchen surprises with familiar dishes and delights with new ones. Inspired by Asia, the aesthetic Izakaya parlor nestled between the mountains evokes a Zen feeling. And those seeking intoxicating and sparkling drinks will be captivated by the creations of the Upside Down Town Hotel – Neue Post at the Lapponia Bar.

"We wanted to create a hotel that inspires, surprises, and is simply different. Driven by our curiosity and tireless spirit of discovery, we bring the unexpected to Zell am See. It is particularly important to us to honor the long-standing tradition and history and combine them with a modern spirit," operators Nadia Bruckner and Darijo Vujicic proudly say. And that's exactly what they achieved in collaboration with BWM Designers & Architects and the brand and strategy developers at petrichor.

From edgy rooms with record players to fusion cuisine, saunas, and The Secret Garden with an outdoor pool in the heart of the city, the Upside Down Town Hotel – Neue Post is a real game changer. “Inspired by the valuable craftsmanship of the existing building, we have combined the past with the modern and thus literally created a New Post Office,” explains Erich Bernard from BWM Designers & Architects. "For example, the old, handmade wooden ceilings were integrated and translated into graphic elements that can now be found in the interior design – a detail that runs like a design thread through the entire house, from the ceilings to the carpets in the corridors and even the headboards.", Bernard continued.
