After a hiatus of several years, the Austrian Ski Instructors' Championships are returning to the Schladming-Dachstein region. Under the title "Ski Instructors Festival 2025," exciting competitions in the categories of formation skiing, individual demo runs, and giant slalom will take place on March 15 and 16, 2025, on the Rittisberg in Ramsau. More than 20 teams from across Austria have already registered. In addition to the sporting highlights, spectators will also be offered a varied supporting program with free admission.
This traditional event is considered one of the most important gatherings of the ski instructor community in Austria. It kicks off on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 1:00 PM with individual demo runs by Austria's best ski instructors and the team competition in formation skiing. Starting at 7:00 PM, things get particularly exciting on the north slope of the Rittisberg with the final runs of the best teams under floodlights.
Afterwards, participants, organizers, and spectators will celebrate wildly at the valley station during the awards ceremony and the subsequent big "Ski Instructor Party." Host Marco and DJ Max, who recently created a great atmosphere at the Ski World Championships in Saalbach, will be there. The giant slalom starts at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 16, 2025, and the awards ceremony, starting at 12:30 p.m., will conclude the two-day festival.
