A real challenge for winter sports enthusiasts!
The fifth anniversary of the spectacular race on the north slope of the Schlossalm in Gastein. The route from the Hohen Scharte to the valley station of the Schlossalmbahn is considered one of the longest downhill runs in the Eastern Alps. 1440 meters of altitude are contested in the "wild race" in the Super-G style. It takes tremendous strength and endurance in the thighs to be cheered by the fans at the finish line after about six minutes.
