The ATTACK HYBRID ski binding is the perfect combination of a pin and alpine binding, combining ultimate climbing power with outstanding downhill performance without compromise. TYROLIA's expanded AAA series now offers all the touring technologies available.

With the new Attack Hybrid binding, Tyrolia completes the successful AAA series with another technology, that sets new standards and even goes beyond touring. The Attack Hybrid combines the Almonte pin binding for sporty ascents and the proven Attack binding for perfect and safe descents. One binding thus covers all touring applications and guarantees twice the skiing fun.
ATTACK HYBRID: THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS
Simple and straightforward to use and requiring no tools, the Attack Hybrid's pin toe cap can be swapped for an alpine toe cap. This transforms the Attack Hybrid from a lightweight pin toe cap, ideal for dynamic touring, into a powerful and stable alpine toe cap. The Attack Hybrid is available in two models—the Attack Hybrid 14 MN/PT and 11 MN/PT—with the following technical features:
- DIN setting range from 4-14 (14 MN/PT) or 3-11 (11 MN/PT)
- Heel height of 32 mm
- 4 mm drop (SKI mode)
- Lightweight construction thanks to the use of 30% carbon instead of glass fibers: in HIKE mode with 865 g (14 MN/PT) or 805 g (11 MN/PT) and in SKI mode with 1115 g (14 MN/PT) or 1055 g (11 MN/PT).
- Resource-saving construction through the use of more than 50% renewable plastics
- Effortless ascent thanks to two climbing aid options (0°/9°), which can be operated by hand or with the ski pole
The Attack Hybrid's design eliminates the possibility of the brakes popping open when touring with extremely tight ski control, where the brake lever could be accidentally pushed down and released by the second ski. With special left and right bindings, clearly marked "L" and "R," each with an outer flap on the binding for operating the brake, the binding, when correctly positioned, ensures effortless ascent. Therefore, when touring, the flaps should be positioned on the outside rather than the inside to prevent the lever from accidentally closing. However, when skiing, both skis can be used interchangeably.

A compact case for the second jaw unit ensures easy and quick handling when switching between pin and alpine functions. The binding also comes with a multi-tool, which serves to clean the binding and provides additional leverage for opening the jaw lever when replacing the jaw unit. This provides additional assistance in extreme winter temperatures, should the binding become icy.
Both Attack Hybrid models score with proven Tyrolia Technologies such as the FR PRO3 and Tour PT toe, as well as the NX FR heel, are also new. The Power Brake Hybrid is also new: the automatic brake lock can be activated by hand or with the ski pole and prevents entry if the brake is locked. Cutting-edge color combinations in black/gold (Attack Hybrid 14 MN/PT) and black/silver (Attack Hybrid 11 MN/PT) complete the look. In alpine mode, the Attack Hybrid is compatible with alpine, touring (according to ISO 9523), and GripWalk boots, and meets the corresponding standards. Ski boots with pin inserts are required for touring mode.
