The Ski&Golf World Championships from 7 to 11 May 2025 in Zell am See-Kaprun promise a unique combination of skiing and golf.

The Ski&Golf World Championships kick off with the giant slalom at almost 3,000 meters above sea level on the Kitzsteinhorn glacier. Against the impressive backdrop of the Hohe Tauern National Park, competitors must choose the right line for the first time. In a race lasting approximately 40 seconds, the World Championship participants will showcase their skiing skills – and their fastest turns.
This year, there are two favorites for the best time: Sam Maes, who is coming to Zell am See-Kaprun practically directly from the Ski World Cup finals in Sun Valley, and Hans Grugger, who, although now retired from skiing, has four World Cup victories in his racing career. Neither Sam Maes nor Hans Grugger will be able to match Bode Miller's best times from previous years – because the race course will be about ten seconds longer.
extended.
After the ski race, the World Cup entourage will move to the Zell am See Kaprun Golf Club. The only 36-hole leading golf course in the Alps, with its view of the majestic Kitzsteinhorn, offers an impressive World Cup setting. Over two days of competition, the challenge is to demonstrate the best golf swings after the fast ski turns and to find the ideal line on the putting greens after the ski race. On Saturday afternoon, it will be revealed which ski racer has played their best golf – or which golf professional or single handicapper has put together the best comeback on the golf course after the ski race. The best Nordic combined golfers will secure medals and World Cup titles.
Either way, every participant will get World Cup fever – and the trend is rising – thanks to a world-class supporting program: from the ceremonial opening to celebrity talks, BBQ & free beer, the glamorous award ceremony and the legendary Après-Ski & Golf World Cup Party with DJ and saxophone sounds.
The unique feature of the Ski & Golf World Championships is the unique combination of two completely different disciplines: In both the giant slalom on the glacier and the golf tournament in the valley, participants must demonstrate athletic versatility, precision, and concentration. The results from both events determine the overall ranking – an experience that is both physically and mentally challenging. This year, in addition to ski professionals such as Hans Grugger and Sam Maes, golf professionals, entrepreneurs, and prominent guests are expected. The Ski & Golf World Championships are therefore not only a top sporting event, but also an exclusive meeting place for the international sports and business community – nestled between glacier, mountains, and lake.
