Ski amadé is the largest ski marketing association in Austria. The Styrian part is currently in the spotlight again thanks to the night race on the Planai. The ideal time, then, to present the Ski Guide Austria Award 2025 in a dignified atmosphere next door on the Reiteralm.
It is not only the ride up with the brand new 10-seater Rohrmoos I cable car in the Planai-Hochwurzen ski area that shows that the technology here is always state-of-the-art. It not only ensures a comfortable ascent, but also, thanks to effective snowmaking and personnel-intensive preparation, creates magnificent slopes, most of which the Ski Guide Austria team were able to enjoyably "experience" in January on Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm.
The award was given for continuous innovations to make Austria's largest ski region association more attractive and to strengthen its brand. This includes not only the almost 100 million euros invested in quality improvements for the current winter alone, but also the transparent and customer-friendly dynamic pricing system, exceptional events and the focus on upscale cuisine. The Best Learn2Ski amadè in particular, which sets new standards for the more than 40 ski schools in the ski association, deserves this recognition.
Lucrative package for the second half of the season
Another thing that speaks for Ski amadé are the numerous budget-friendly offers. Some of them are already running, others are coming up: The Easter family promotion runs from March 15, 2025 until the end of the season. During this time, children up to 15 years of age (born in 2009 and later) ski for free if at least one parent buys a 6-day ski pass. The Junior Weekend Bonus is aimed at day visitors for the entire season. On all weekends, the ski pass for children (born 2009 - 2018) and young people (born 2006 - 2008) is reduced to 25 euros per day for children and 37.50 euros for young people. But it's not just the youngsters who are being thought of. The Enjoyment Active Week for everyone over 60 offers a free 6-day ski pass for Ski amadé from March 29, 2025 to April 12, 2025 when booking a 7-day stay in a participating accommodation facility. The price also includes free pleasure ski guiding in the respective region. A collection pass is also handed out on arrival. If this is filled with at least four stamps from the participating pleasure ski route huts during the holiday week, the coveted "Pleasure Expert" badge in the form of a pole coat of arms can be picked up from the tourist associations. There are 7 nights in a 3-star hotel with half board in a double room including a 6-day ski pass per person from just 600 euros. Ladies Week runs from March 22 to 29, 2025, but in the spirit of equal treatment is not limited to women. During this popular promotional week, under certain conditions, not only is a second ski pass free when you buy one, but ski tests and ski guiding are also offered.
Last but not least, we would like to mention the ski and wine enjoyment package. During the ski and wine enjoyment week from March 15 to 22, 2025, the 23 Ski amadé enjoyment partner hotels are offering specially created holiday packages on the theme of skiing and Austrian wine. Ski amadé unites the five regions of Salzburger Sportwelt (with Flachau, Wagrain, St. Johann/Alpendorf, Radstadt, Altenmarkt-Zauchensee, Kleinarl, Eben, Filzmoos, Goldegg), Schladming-Dachstein (with Schladming-Planai, Rohrmoos-Hochwurzen, Pichl-Reiteralm), Ramsau am Dachstein, Haus im Ennstal-Hauser Kaibling, Forstau-Fageralm, Pruggern-Galsterbergalm), Gastein (Bad Gastein, Bad Hofgastein, Dorfgastein, Sportgastein), Hochkönig (Maria Alm, Dienten, Mühlbach) and Großarltal (Großarl, Hüttschlag).
