It is already considered a real national sport throughout Asia and is also enjoying huge enthusiasm in Scandinavia.<br>The Yukigassen World Championships are held annually in Hokkaido (Japan), and the official Yukigassen European Championships are held every year in Lapland (Finland).<br><br>The Austrian Yukigassen Association, founded in 2024 and based in Filzmoos, has set out to spread Yukigassen in Austria and Germany from Filzmoos.<br><br>There are essentially no prerequisites (just a minimum age of 13), and you need at least 6 players to form a team (a Yukigassen team consists of 7 to 10 players).
